Hi Kirin, and welcome! 🙂
Currently, on my newer (circa 2017-present) sewing patterns are available as digital downloads.
I am hoping to update my older (Bad Wolf Costumes) sewing patterns over the coming year or two, as well as produce a corresponding line of women's patterns. Once I do, the newer versions will be available here on the web site as digital versions as well.

Haha, no problem! Thank you for your pattern order!
I'm still developing dye recipes for everyone interested, but “Starbase375logistics” on Etsy offers excellent jumbo spandex in TNG division colors:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/875317646/jumbo-spandex-fabric
The red and gold swatches are from there. The teal is something I custom-dyed a year or two ago, but SB375L has since begun offering a very close color as well.
(Do note that the teal is matched to a uniform from later in the series, but the earlier teal is quite different. I occasionally do small batches of the early teal – a few yards here and there – but am working on a better long-term solution.)
Happy sewing! 🙂

If I'm understanding you correctly, the “front” and “back” of the cape are one continuous piece (cut on the fold, if the fabric you're using is wide enough).
There are two pieces that need to be connected; the upper piece is the one with the pleated neckline, and the second piece is a lower extension that is cut to the desired length. The two pieces are joined to create the full cape.
Could you be more specific with your pleating issue, and possibly include a photo? I might be better able to help you that way with those.

Welcome, Ceresa!
I'm glad you found some potential sewing projects for the future. 🙂
I am planning to do a Dr. Crusher lab coat sewing pattern, hopefully in the next few months. I was able to study and pattern directly off a screen-used lab coat and will be posting about it soon.

Welcome, Laramis!
That's cool about the LARP. With your love of sci-fi/fantasy and desire to make your own costumes, you're certainly in the right place. 🙂

Hi Paul, and welcome!
Some costumes are definitely more challenging than others.
I'd say a TOS tunic is probably the easiest TREK uniform to tackle. I obviously haven't done pattern(s) for those yet but there are a couple available from other vendors.
TNG jumpsuits aren't difficult to make, but they can be challenging to properly fit. Skants are pretty straightforward too, once you manage to wrap your brain around their bizarre paneling and overlapping invisible zippers.
Happy sewing!

Hi Ricky,
I'm not entirely sure I understood your question, and the images you uploaded are unlabeled and uncaptioned, BUT hopefully this information will help:
1- The curved contours of the two panels (body and center front) are slightly different at the top. They won't properly align while the jumpsuit front is lying flat, but they do match at the outer seam/stitching lines (where the two pieces overlap and are topstitched into place).
2- In the first photo, keep in mind that the front panel is comprised of two layers, and therefore the paper pattern piece includes seam allowance along the outer edges. The finished center front panel will be correspondingly smaller than the paper pattern piece as-is.
3 – Also keep in mind that the center front panel edges have 5/8″ seam allowance, while the jumpsuit's front body has 7/8″ allowance where the two pieces overlap.
4 – If I'm understanding correctly, don't worry about the material at the front crotch since it will extend underneath the crotch area once the back is attached. The upper front should drape fine too, but nothing about the jumpsuit will want to lie flat until it's finished.
I know this can all be confusing, but pretty much everything about this pattern directly mimics the way the screen-used costume was made.
I hope that helps!

Hi Nerys,
Thank you for your kind words about my costume research. 🙂
Most of my older (pre-2017) sewing patterns are available in our Tailors Gone Wild Etsy shop, at least for a while longer:

Thanks again for the kind words and interest.

My web developer said the videos are playing fine for him, but I'm actually having a problem with them too.
For me, they'll play but they're buffering very slowly. Is that what's happening on your end?
They play fine at the source, so we're trying to track down the specific plugin that's causing the bottleneck. I'm currently looking into the video player itself.
