Hey there! My name is Tony, and I've been doing the whole costume thing for years. While my focus has really been on items made out of resin, fiberglass, or that were 3D Printed, I've been starting to work on sewing, as the machines are marginally less frustrating than 3D Printers.

My main goals are to get some of the TNG/DS9/VOY era uniform patterns, and make some good costumes that are easier to walk around and sit down in than armor.

I won't be posting much, as I'm mainly a reader and quiet learner.

Looking forward to seeing this all grow!

    Welcome, Tony!

Props and accessories are outside my field of expertise, so I have a lot of respect for those who know their stuff and do that kind of work.

The uniforms you mentioned are great choices, and while they all have their pros and cons, I do agree that they're easier to maneuver (and rest) in than armor!

Nothing wrong with being a lurker, but I do hope you'll feel free to chime in anytime you have something to say. 🙂

By the way, based on what I'm looking to make, how long do I have before the First Contact/Nemesis/DS9 patterns are pulled from Etsy for reworking? *laughs*

That's my first one I want to do, after I get about 40 more lbs. dropped.

I'll probably be discontinuing them in a few months, maybe early next year (2022). I'm going to wait as long as possible, to minimize the window when they'll be temporarily unavailable.

And as someone who's recently shed about 40 pounds, myself, I commend you for your weight and health goal! 🙂
