I'm Alex, aka “Obsessive Costuming Dude” on social media, and the site administrator here at Tailors Gone Wild. 🙂
My wife (Katherine) and I owned and ran Bad Wolf Costumes for almost 9 years before launching Tailors Gone Wild to help other aspiring sewing wizards pursue their dreams.
I have several sewing/costuming blogs, my favorite (and the most popular) of which is the Star Trek Costume Guide.
I'm excited about this new web site and forum, and I'm looking forward to hanging out with you all here!

This looks like a really exciting endeavor. I have a wish. I am hoping that you will make available the pattern of holes for the 12th Dr holes shirt. I know that you have researched this already. I suck at this stuff so I would love to have a life sized, correct pattern of holes to work on. Looking forward to the new stuff! I al also really looking forward to that intro sewing class. I have a machine but have now sewn anything since I was a child.

Really excited to see how this site develops; your costume patterns, analyses and tutorials have been enormously helpful to me in learning how to sew (techniques that I am now integrating into my regular non-costume sewing). The first video in your online sewing course was very entertaining and I can't wait to see the rest of it! Also looking forward to your upcoming in-development sewing patterns, particularly TWOK.
